　　在现代电子传媒几乎可以说是无远弗届的时代，不论是老师做研究，或是学生写报告，大概都会上网查询相关的信息，和下载有用的数据，对诸多学人而言，确实能够节省不少奔波各大图书馆寻寻觅觅、还不见得能有所获的时间和心力。尤其是对想接触、了解或阅读英文出版品的人来说，更是不会有太大的遗憾，只要上网，上对网站，大多可以掌握到十之八、九的相关讯息。不过，无论如何，虽然网络可以提供快捷的信息，但是要想获得深度的知识和智能，还是需要经过阅读的吸收、蕴酿和沉潜，才有可能发酵成为精萃。
